100 KM of Fort: What Udaipur Taught Me

There is a moment in every hundred kilometres when the race stops being about running. For Gaurav Pant — Fitygrity's Advisor & Coach — that moment came on the roads of The Fort Ultra, Udaipur, bib 119 on his chest and the Aravalli heat rising off the tarmac.

A hundred kilometres is not fifty twice. It is a negotiation with yourself, kilometre after kilometre, through the parts of the morning when your body files its first protests and the parts of the afternoon when it escalates to full revolt. What carries you through is not fitness alone — it is patience, fuelling discipline, and the quiet decision, repeated a thousand times, to take one more step.

Gaurav crossed that finish line the way he coaches others to: steady, humble, and already thinking about the next start line. At Fitygrity he brings the same philosophy to every athlete he guides — run long, run honest, and never confuse the distance with the destination.

His ask of every runner reading this: pick the distance that scares you a little, and start.

Put it into practice with the tribe.
